Kalypso Offshore's Assets
America’s first dedicated Cable Lay Vessel
Responding to the growing demand for renewables in the USA, Kalypso is currently developing America’s first dedicated U.S. flagged Cable Lay Vessel (CLV), which will be brought to the market in 2028. Having a capacity of approximately 5,000 tons, the Kalypso CLV will provide our clients with significant offshore installation capacity whilst providing direct access to local content and supply chain development.
Kalypso CLV
Kalypso Offshore operates America’s first advanced cable installation vessel in the U.S. market. Equipped with dual carousels, Kalypso’s CLV has a custom-designed dual-lane Cable Installation System which provides our clients with complete flexibility in the field during installation. The vessel features two cable carousels with a combined capacity of 5,000 tonnes. Together, these turntables can carry and transport 100 km of cable in a single trip.
Cable Lay Vessel
Our CLV has a custom-designed dual-lane Cable Installation System which provides our clients with complete flexibility in the field during installation. The vessel features two cable carousels with a combined capacity of 5,000 tonnes and is capable of installation export, inter-array, and telecommunication cables.
Offshore Support Vessel
Our OSV is currently in development, which will be specially designed to meet the demands of wind farm construction. With a comprehensive range of features including heavy-lift cranes, spacious deck space, and specialist accommodation facilities, our vessel offers complete support for every stage of offshore wind farm construction.
