New York, September 2025
The Kalypso Offshore team spent an impactful September in New York, taking part in two landmark events driving momentum in the U.S. offshore energy sector: the Offshore Wind Innovation Hub’s “Wind-Win Startup Showdown” and Climate Week NYC 2025.

WIND-WIN STARTUP SHOWDOWN
The Wind-Win Startup Showdown, held earlier in the month, marked the first in-person gathering of the Offshore Wind Innovation Hub’s 2025 cohort. The event brought together pioneering startups, industry leaders, and government representatives to showcase technologies supporting the next generation of offshore wind development.
Kalypso’s Director, Owen Rataj, presented the company’s innovative approach to Jones Act–compliant subsea cable installation, maintenance, and repair, including its Modular Cable Repair Kit (MCRK) system — a vessel-agnostic, rapidly deployable solution designed to strengthen U.S. offshore energy resilience and reduce repair downtime.

CLIMATE WEEK NYC 2025
Later in the month, the team returned to New York for Climate Week NYC, engaging with policymakers, investors, and fellow innovators to discuss how scalable, domestic supply-chain solutions can accelerate the clean-energy transition.
Kalypso’s participation reinforced its commitment to advancing local content, shipbuilding partnerships, and technology innovation across the U.S. offshore energy value chain.

The team’s presence in New York reflects Kalypso’s growing role in supporting the U.S. offshore energy supply chain through local partnerships, technology innovation, and strategic investment in domestic marine assets.
